Oh those cute little litter bugs

the handle... "litter bug" denotes something cute like "lady bug" or "cute as a bug in a rug". But there is nothing cute about one who chooses to litter our highways, public spaces, business or personal property. Maybe we should re-introduce that old slogan "don't be litter bug" with a slightly revised edition such as "don't be a litter PIG" or maybe even more appropriate "don't be a litter SCUM BAG". With all the education and awareness over the years to discourage littering there is no excuse for this activity and we should not tolerate it. Those of you who do litter, be it tossing your filthy cigarette butt out the car window to illegal dumping of household garbage... STOP IT!! Stop being so lazy, ignorant or rude to your fellow citizens.
